If you play consoles, you don’t own dlcs and you are very new in the game, take the road on the right of the sinchole obelisk, pass the camp of the skeletons, continue and you will find a path that will lead you to a black hand camp, to the higher plateau of this camp, on the left you will find an armor stand that will teach you the hyena fur armor. If you play pc then any armor with warming up food and berry pulp will travel you almost everywhere, but it is very important to have 2 perks on vitality. With the release of the mounts update, the new Riders of Hyboria Pack is available. As a server admin you can also adjust the number of maximum thralls that players can have. Private servers may opt in to use the system, but it’s not mandatory. Keep in mind that with the leveling system in place, individual thralls and pets will be significantly stronger than before. Once the grace period is over, random pets/thralls will be removed until the limit is respected. When the thrall/pet cap goes live there will be a grace period where you can dismiss old pets and thralls using the “Break Bonds” command from the radial menu. This will affect fighters, archers, dancers, and all pets and mounts, but not crafters, which are technically counted as items. Thralls/pets will become a limited resource going forward. There are more details about the Pet/Thrall leveling system on our forums and in this FAQ. The more specialized the Perk, the greater the bonus. Pets/Thralls will gain perks as they level up, which will further enhance their capability and grant bonuses to Attributes. Pets/thralls will only gain experience points when they are following you. Crafting, exploration and other activities will not. Killing enemies when a Pet or Thrall follows you will grant them experience points. You can check your Follower’s Attributes by selecting “Info” from the radial menu. Faction and Tier determines growth rate and base Attributes, to make sure similar pets and thralls won’t be exactly the same. When placing a Follower, they start at level 0 with a base set of Attributes. Leveling a Follower grants them increased stats and special bonus Perks. We’re also adding a leveling system for Pets and Thralls that can follow you. We think mounted combat is going to add a whole new level to Conan Exiles’ PvE and PvP gameplay and we’re excited to hear what you think. With mounts we’re also introducing mounted combat. No matter which saddle you choose, using a horse to get anywhere is significantly faster than running on foot. Warhorse Saddle – Slow acceleration, minimum speed, high defense, low maneuverability.Scout Saddle – Long sprinting time, medium speed, low defense, maximum maneuverability.Cavalry Saddle – Fast acceleration, maximum speed, minimum defense, minimum maneuverability.Saddles will have different effects on your mount: To ride into the sunset like your favorite cowboy you’ll need to equip your horse with a saddle, which can be unlocked at level 20. Once your foal has grown into adult horse it can be placed in the world, like a regular Thrall/Pet. Raise several different horses to find one with the stats you like. Like Pets/Thralls, horses will grow stronger as they level up. Stables work the same as Animal Pens, but are for horses only. You will first have to find a foal, then bring it back to a Stable to raise it. Getting a mount works the same way as getting a regular pet. We really hope you’ll like what you find in this update.
